Cheesy "Stuffed" Mushrooms
Prehead oven to 350°. Sauté sausage in a frying pan, breaking into small pieces. Prepare stuffing according to package directions. Clean mushrooms and cut in half or in thirds for bigger mushrooms. Spread mushrooms evenly over the bottom of a 13 x 9 glass baking dish. Layer with cooked sausage, garlic and stuffing. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil, top with cheese and bake for 10 minutes at 400°. Serve with bread sticks or other warm bread. |
