Mandi: Ben Capozzi, Publisher of Dreamsmith Studios and his dad. Both really swell guys. Maybe with the downsizing of Awesome they'll be able to get Brandon Peterson to do a book for them. Jenny: You know, this is a great comic. And I really hope that it goes as well as it deserves. Or at least as well as the art deserves and the ideas deserve. I hope the writing is great. I know that Ben was really cranky that we took this picture, because he ran out of crisp white shirts or something and this was like the one day all year that he wasn't wearing a tie and sleeves and bam! picture time! Nice people. Go to their website at http://www.dreamsmithstudios.com and check that out, yo.
Mandi: Jenny and Boris Vallejo. I felt kinda sorry for Julie Bell. I think she thought she was gonna be in the pic, but Jenn elbowed her in the head and knocked her on the floor. That's my Jenny. Jenny: Yeah. I've never really seen Julie Bell's stuff. And when I look at her, I think wow. There's that girl that's that mean muscular type in all of his paintings. And then I think wow. That's a girl that sleeps with that old Hispanic man. And then I think wow. I don't want that woman in this picture. And then I think wow. Mandi has nice breasts.
Mandi: You might be asking yourself why this pic made it in here. We don't know this guy. We'd never seen him before and haven't seen him since. His name could be Bob but we're not sure. He's here because we had a picture and it would be a waste of film to leave it out. Jenny: You know? This is my friend Mark Ramos. He's a nice guy and all with a swell girlfriend. He's from Norton Mass, my quasi-hometown, and he's an EE major at UMass Lowell. Email him at mramos@cs.uml.edu to chat. (Actually, this is a big case of hey? Is my flash working? But it looks like Mark's back, so I'm pretending. Makes me look less technologically incompetent. :)
